Bollywood in Morocco

It was a pleasant 8.5 hours of journey from Dubai to Casablanca. Time to execute all the planning’s and lesson learned during various preparation calls.
Post immigration process came to exit point and our first interaction was with Yousuf, the driver waiting with placard having name on it. We had to stroll through parking before reaching to car. Amazing weather outside airport

Most amazing thing was to know that Shahrukh Khan is too famous in Morocco and they play his movies dubbed in Arabic. Would love to watch one for sure some day
Through various roads from airport with so many questions and answers with the Yousuf, I finally reached JM Suites in Casablanca, our new home for another one month.
Out of 20 rooms 16 were booked by our friends and colleague, so kind of family hotel J

Flight to Casablanca

...Continuing from previous post...

Boarded flight at around 3:50 AM on 25 April 2014. Flight EK513 from Delhi to Dubai. Had some big expectations in terms of service from the airlines but nothing exceptional happened. 
Best experience in flight was view of take off and landing from flight camera's in front and at the bottom... just amazing as we were sitting in cock pit.

Landed in Dubai, first time, Airport was huge and amazing.. goosebumps..
Boarded flight from Dubai to Casablanca with anxiety and thrill, was planned to travel with another colleague however after reaching in Casablanca... came to know that he missed his flight...

3 months of prework and the d-day is here. Waiting @ T3 New Delhi to board flight to Dubai. Will be taking connecting flight from Dubai to Casablanca.

So far it has been quite of interesting journey. Journey begun on 20 Dec 2012 with an email from Jamie for confirmation to Tanzania 10  team to Tanga. Due to project deadlines I had to postpone the assignment. I got another option after almost 1 year on 13 Dec 2013 to join Morocco 5 team to Casablanca. Timing suited very well to all my previous commitments with  client and I was extremely excited to join the team.

Prework started with note from Jamie and then Misha took it off. She prepared us very well for this journey putting lot of efforts and hard work. Laurie, Cathy and Brittany did contributed to the prework session on various topics.

Talked, listened and discussed over phone and calls and now its time.. time to meet each of them in person.

Not to forget about 2 other people who were with us throughout this journey and had put lot of efforts to make us comfortable for this journey. Nabil & Imane - you both rocks..

Journey Begins

It took a while to finally manage to write a blog. Been thinking about this since a long but procrastination always won. I hope, finally, I will be able to get into habit of writing my best experience with great people and great project.

3 days remaining to go .. busy with prep and packing..  thanks to all people for making nice suggestions about travel..
